Hey kids! Are you ready for an adventure? Join us for the Riverkid Triathlon on Saturday, August 16 at Farm Island Recreation Area in Pierre, SD!

Grab your sneakers, bring your bike, and don’t forget your swimsuit—it’s time to be a triathlon hero with the OAHE FAMILY YMCA! 

Medals for top 3 boys and girls in each age division. Participation medals for all kids. 

* Brightly colored swim caps and bike helmets are required!

Farm Island Recreation Area

RACE DAY SCHEDULE:

Check-in: 8:00 a.m. (Central Time) East end of the swim beach parking lot.

Rules Meeting: 8:30 a.m.

Race: Starts immediately following the rules meeting, approximately 8:45am.

 

DISTANCES:

2 age divisions

6-10 Year-Olds: Swim 100 yd. (along beach), Bike 3 mile, Run .5 mile
11-14 Year-Olds: Swim 200 yd. (along beach), Bike 6 mile, Run1 mile

Early Registration ( Ends July 31) Includes T-shirt
Individual: Member $25, Non-Member $30
Late Registration (August 1 to August 15) Does Not Include T-shirt
Individual: Member $45, Non-Member $50
